Privacy Policy

The short version: TiltForge analyses publicly availableLeague of Legends match data from the Riot Games API. You don't need an account. We don't ask for a password. We cache public data to stay fast, and we keep light, anonymised logs to understand usage. You can ask us to delete anything tied to you at any time.
1. What You Provide When You Search
When you use TiltForge, the only thing you actively give us is a search query. That typically includes:
- βΊThe Riot ID you search β your gameName and tagLine (e.g. PlayerName#EUW).
- βΊThe region/platform you select (e.g. EUW, KR, NA).
- βΊOptionally, an email address if you contact us or join a waitlist.
You do not create an account, and TiltForge never asks for your Riot password or login. We never have access to your Riot account β only the public data Riot exposes through their official API.
2. Data We Process From the Riot Games API
When you search a Riot ID, we request public data from Riot Games and process it to generate your report. This includes:
- βΊSummoner profile β summoner level, profile icon, and account identifiers (PUUID).
- βΊRanked standing β tier, division, LP, wins and losses.
- βΊMatch history β recent ranked games and their per-match stats (KDA, CS, vision, damage, objectives, champion played, role, game duration).
- βΊChampion stats β per-champion win rates and performance derived from your matches.
- βΊReport outputs β the scores, archetype, insights, and improvement plan TiltForge computes from the above.
All of this is information Riot already makes publicly available about ranked accounts. TiltForge does not scrape, estimate, or fabricate match data β every figure reflects real game history returned by the API.
3. Caching & Storage
To stay fast and to respect Riot's API rate limits, we temporarily cache public Riot data β for example, recently fetched match details and summoner profiles. Cached match data may be stored for up to a few days; profile and ranked data is refreshed more frequently. This cache exists purely for performance: if several people look up the same popular account, we don't need to re-request everything from Riot each time. Cached data is public Riot data, not private personal information.
4. Search Logs & Product Analytics
We may keep light, anonymised records of what was searched β such as the region entered and general usage events β to understand how the product is used, spot bugs, and improve it. We do not build advertising profiles.
We use PostHog for privacy-conscious product analytics β to see which features are used and where people get stuck. We only send non-identifying events (for example: a search started, a report was generated, which region was selected, an error type). We deliberately do notsend your full Riot ID, gameName, tagLine, PUUID, the raw text you typed, or any Riot API data. Page URLs that contain a Riot ID are redacted before any event is sent, autocapture and session recording are turned off, and analytics only runs at all when it's explicitly enabled for the deployment.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
TiltForge uses only the minimal cookies and browser local storage needed for the site to function β for example, remembering your last selected region or basic session state. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings without losing access to the site.
6. Email & Contact Information
If you email us or sign up for a waitlist or community channel, we'll keep your email address only to reply to you or send you the updates you asked for. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to unrelated marketing. Ask us to remove it and we will.
7. Third-Party Services
TiltForge relies on a small number of external services:
- βΊRiot Games API β the source of all match, summoner, and ranked data. Riot's own privacy policy and terms apply to data they provide.
- βΊHosting provider β our site and server run on a third-party cloud hosting platform that processes requests on our behalf.
- βΊPostHog β privacy-conscious product analytics. Receives only non-identifying usage events (never your Riot ID, raw query, or Riot data). Disabled unless explicitly enabled for the deployment.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
8. Data Retention
Cached Riot data expires automatically β typically within days β and is re-fetched fresh when needed. Anonymised usage logs are kept only as long as they're useful for improving the product. Email you send us is kept until the conversation is resolved or you ask us to delete it. We don't hold onto data we don't need.
9. Your Choices & Deletion Requests
Because TiltForge analyses public Riot data and requires no account, there isn't a login for you to manage. If you'd like us to remove cached data associated with a specific Riot ID, delete an email you've sent us, or stop logging a particular account, just reach out via our contact pageand we'll handle it. If you want your public data removed from Riot's systems themselves, that request needs to go to Riot Games directly.
10. No Account Required
TiltForge does not currently require account creation, and we don't collect login credentials of any kind. If we introduce optional accounts in the future, we'll update this policy to explain what that involves before you sign up.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of TiltForge after changes means you accept the updated policy.
